Didn't take them long,
to see that gaping hole
in the middle of their empty lives.
Didn't take them time,
to feel the clock
ticking away years of their frozen lives.
Didn't take them far
being stupefied
by their hopelessness.
Didn't take them by surprise,
when life offered itself
and they lived upto their helplessness.
How many men are brave enough,
to know this hopeless emptiness?How many?
